Free Stock Photo Library Aims To Improve Disability Representation
Creative studio Where The Buffalo Roam (WTBR) partnered with disability consulting firm LaVant Consulting to produceAll In Frame, a free stock photo collection created to give marketing, advertising, and creative professionals the tools to tell more authentic stories about disability.
The collection features a diverse community of people with visible and non-visible disabilities in authentic everyday settings. Authenticity extended far beyond the camera, with more than half of the nearly 100-person cast and crew for the shoot identifying as disabled.
MediaPost spoke with Andraéa LaVant, LaVant Consulting’s CEO, and Nilou Safinya, WTBR’s Executive Producer and Creative Director, about why they created All In Frame.
