Where The Buffalo Roam directing duo Giraffe Sisters recently premiered their short film Summer of Fellini on Nowness. The film stars the directors, Nicola and Juliana, as themselves, alongside their real parents. Initially conceived as a creative escape during a family trip to Europe for a wedding with their separated parents, Summer of Fellini evolved into something more profound: a reimagining of their origin story—from conception and birth to individuation—told through a series of poetic, symbol-laden vignettes.
